dad i was just remembering so many of the happy times we had as children,but do you remember the time paddy the pony got loose and we had to chase after him, we went to the whitehole and everwhere lookin him ,when we got him you threw rope around him as he was still tearing around the back garden and you shouting god dam it !! at him and then he ran and you fell to the ground,and you held onto the rope and he ran like the devil with you on the ground and you being covered in mud and grass ,oh it was some sight ,when he eventually stopped you just gave out a little bit to him,and then you roared laughing ,oh dad you were so funny,lot people never got to know that side of you ,but we all did ,and it was such a pleasure calling you dad,you were a brillant dad,THE BEST
i remember the first time i met you....you and aoibhne came to collect me from my house in kennedy park ...i was staying in tomhaggard for the night...which would later become a weekend ritual!! i remember you asking me if i liked the "hurling" and when i replied that i had no interest at all in the GAA....you shouted "WHAT?" then politely asked me to get out of your car!!! i remember you always waking me and aoibhne up in the morning by opening the bedroom door and throwing the "smelly" cat on top of us in the bed!! it was either her or shelly!! oh and dont forget ...the brown bread..there was always brown soda bread in tomhaggard!! ill never forget those times xx
you were always there when tickets went on sale wexford park,in front of the queue grining and slagging me for been late, I ll miss hiding the biscuits at back of press for you when you called in for tea on your rounds,

Uncle Sean, I well up at the thoughts of tomorrow, another Wexford match without you! To think of your shiny car with all its banners and flags flying the purple and gold. Sitting on the bus with all the lads knowing at any time you will pass by beeping your horn, trying to spy you at the match and then wave at you like a lunatic. Wexford matches will never be the same because their most loyal and flamboyant fan is not there in body but i know well you'll be there in spirit, making all the wexford flags fly with pure urgency in the hope of a victory! im so sad your gone but i will always remember the things you thought me like thats its unlady like for a girl to drink a pint, always concentrate when hitting the sliotar ( preferably over the bar and not through the window ).you used to let me reverse the car out of the drive but watch me through your bedroom window with that famous grin! everywhere i look there is reminders of you - wexford creamery lorries , toyota corrolla's , when i hear someone cutting their lawn.i miss you so much and im grateful i had a dad like you, one in a million!
I have so many fond memories of Uncle Sean. I spent many Summer holidays as a child in Oldtown and Sean was a huge part of those memories. Him playing "Four Green Fields" on the organ and trying to teach Schira and I to drive. I fell off the back of his Honda 50 once and gave him quite a shock. We had many laughs, many songs and lots of cheese. A great man for the Car boot Sale and of course his love of dogs. As as adult I returned to Oldtown and stayed with Sean on many an occasion where I was always warmly welcomed. Sean was a kind and gentle man. I danced with him a few times something he used to joke about even as he lay in Wexford hospital a week before he passed away. Sean was always thinking of others so much so that he was the gentlest patient I'm sure for the nursing staff in the hospital. His left this world with dignity and pride in his county and even more so for his family. Sean is sadly missed but will always be remembered
Grandad Sean We will miss our holidays in wexford, we will miss playing in the garden and you use to cut up sticks and potter around with sara following you every where, and you use to take our toys and hide them and we would know it was you, as you would be laughing. elanah keeps asking why wont we have anymore holidays in wexford. but mam says we will go to wexford again, but the holidays will be just different. love and a million kisses from leah & elanah

well what can i say, dad was the most honest, genuine, funny, hardworking man i have ever known. when he laughed his grin continued, one which i will never forget. he was a very quiet man, but could talk non stop about politics and GAA. i have fantastic memories of our dad. dad would do anything for anybody. we will miss him so much. photo is of sara, dads dog who he spoilt rotten.
my earliest memory of my dad,are nothing but nice ones,of him reading us all stories before he tooked us up in bed,thats sort man my dad was ,a loving father ,he was forever bringing us here and there for training ,or for matches,or swimming ,and whatever the 5 of us were in to,without ever a moan or groan.that was our dad such a gentle man who did anything for us,and had continued to right to the very end,he loved his family,his animals ,and belive me we had so many in our life,but in latter years,little shelly,big jet,little jet and sara his german shepard were his pride and joy and they adored him,and are pineing for him still.we are all heartbroken, and i dont think we will ever get over losing you dad,
