Creating an Online memorial page

1. How long does it take to create a memorial page?

   Your tribute to a loved one can be created online in a few minutes. First fill in the registration form on "Create a memorial page" page. You can then choose your preferred template design and begin to add content and images to the site. Once you have created the memorial page you are known as the moderator.

2. Can I add to the Memorial Page at any time?

   Yes. You can add, delete or amend the content at ant time when you log on as editor. You can also change your template, photos or music selection at any time.

3. What can I put on the Memorial Page?

   The content you add is entirely up to you but we have divided your page into sections called, Life story, Milestones, Photo Album, and Video Clip, Shared Memories, Tributes and Candles are contributed by visitors to the Memorial Page.

   You can contribute:

   • An unlimited amount of text,
   • A maximum of 50 photographs,
   • Video clip,
   • 1 piece of royalty free music which you can change at any time.
   • An unlimited number of shared memories posted by other people and approved by you as moderator.

4. What if I don’t have any digital photographs?

   If you don’t have your own scanner, you can now have your photos scanned cheaply at most of the larger chemist stores and camera shops.

5. How much does it cost?

   It costs a total of €45 (£40 and $60 approximately) to create your memorial page and to maintain it for 1 year. This includes VAT.

   You may renew a Memorial Page for a total annual fee of €25 (£22 and $33 approximately.)

6. What music can I upload to my Memorial Page?

   We provide free licenced music for you to play.

7. What about copyright material?

   We respect the intellectual property rights of others. Before you upload content to the In Loving Memory website please ensure that you own the copyright to all the content in your work or obtain permission from the copyright owner. This includes music, video, photo, and poem. (If you have an issue with regard to copyright content, please contact us at info@inlovingmemory.ie. )

8. How do I edit my Memorial Page?

   Log in from the homepage and insert your email address and password. This will bring you to the edit page.

Contributing to a Memorial Page

1. How can I send a message of condolence online?

   You can add a message of condolence in 2 ways, by either sending a shared memory or lighting a candle. This can be done from the ‘share a memory’ and ’light a candle’ links on the memorial site of the person you wish to remember.

2. How do I contact the owner of a Memorial Page?

   When you leave your message it will be sent automatically to the memorial page moderator. It is essential that the site owner approves all messages to avoid abuse of the service.

Hosting

1. Can I suspend my Memorial Page?

   If for any reason you wish to suspend your Memorial Page please us contact us directly on info@inlovingmemory.ie. Your site will become inactive within 24 hours.

Membership and Payment

1. How do I renew my membership?

   You will be sent an email reminder when your membership is up for renewal. It is important that In Loving Memory has a valid email address for you. If you wish to change your email address, please log in and click on 'My Details'.

   You will be sent a reminder if your membership is overdue.

3. How can I pay for Membership?

   Payment is online only, with PayPal, one of the world's leading payment service providers for online shopping. You can read more here at www.paypal.com

4. How safe is it to give my credit card details?

   We have secure servers set up through PayPal. In Loving Memory does not store credit card details.

5. Can I cancel my order and seek a refund?

   Yes. You can cancel your payment within 7 working days from the date following conclusion of the contract.
